SystemRequirements


The Front-end Client (user screens) or Single User software platform:

  • Pentium Class PC running Windows 9X, 2000, XP, or NT operating system.

  • Prefer (but not required) running Microsoft Office97 with Access.

  • Normally requires less than 10Mb of disk space and about 25MB of RAM when running.

The Back-end (multi-user server based databases) platform:

  • The preferred server is Win2000 Advance server with Terminal Server for maintenance and updating remotely. The database can be located on any type of file server (Novell etc.) available.

  • Client systems must have Read/Write access to the Database files.

  • Can be located anywhere that can be accessed with a T1 or greater bandwidth. 100mb Ethernet LAN is preferred.

  • Size will vary from a few megabytes to over a 100Mb depending on the number of cases in the system. IE: 10,000 cases = about a 40Mb database container.

  • Larger Facilities may use a SQLserver database with an ODBC interface.

Changes to Certified Platform:

  • Upon Customer’s request, DMI may provide Customer with consulting services related to changing some or all of the hardware and/or software specified in the Designated Platform.

  • DMI makes no representation or warranty that the Licensed Product will run on any of Customer’s requested changes to the hardware and/or software.

  • All work related to Customer’s requested changes to the hardware and/or software in the Designated Platform shall be subject to the availability of DMI’s resources, and charged to Customer at DMI’s then-current standard rates.

  • The modified Designated Platform shall replace the prior Designated Platform and Customer shall remove the Licensed Product from the prior Designated Platform.
